“ For 10+ yrs I've wanted to try this place and finally did! I got a mortadella sandwich on sourdough and it was so good! Get the garlic sauce- made my sandwich so tasty! The sourdough bread is unlike any I've had at a deli and has the perfect level of sour and isn't hard! The folks that work here are super friendly and patient and love how large the space is! Def coming back to try more! ”
“ A solid sandwich. Not a sloppy mess when eating it. Affordable. Friendly service. Table and chairs if you want to eat in. Street parking. ”
“ Delicious! Went on a Friday for lunch with a friend to get a sandwich to go, and there was a short line, you order at the register and wait. We split a large build your own sub. It was plenty for both of us and we were very full afterwards. The ingredients tasted fresh and they have a ton of really great toppings at no extra cost, such as sauerkraut! The sourdough bun was great and the turkey and ham were a lovely combo (you can mix two meats). Only comment I have is that we waited probably a little over 10 minutes for our sandwich even though there was only one party who ordered ahead of us. I figured they were probably satisfying other pick up orders. The wait was worth the sandwich! Get it toasted! ”
“ Was deep into SF for work, and saw this cool vintage looking sandwich shop. Nothing fancy, and has some decent artwork hanging on the walls. Four tables, and window seating make up this small spot. Looks like a local hangout, and has been around for awhile. Service was good, and although there was issues with one of the ovens getting serviced, the sandwich came out rather quickly. Decided on the large Joe DiMaggio on French roll for lunch. They also carry Mitchell's Ice Cream for you dessert lovers out there. Would recommend checking this place out if your in the area. One of the better sandwiches I've had in SF. ”
“ Happy to know we have a great sando spot in the neighborhood! They offer both hot and cold sandwiches and two different sizes. As someone who has a big appetite, the smaller one was plenty big for lunch. But i could see the bigger size being great to split or for dinner. Pretty quick service and friendly staff. Small area for indoor seating too. We will be back! ”
“ One of your best options for an inexpensive meal in Noe Valley. It's been a steady part of the local experience for over 10 years and if you're one of the people who walked by it without considering it, this is your reminder to check it out. Great sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. Nothing too fancy but plenty of good options. Expect to have your sandwiches toasted, so if you don't want that, let them know ahead of time. One of our go to spots for catering for parties. The owner is a super reasonable and nice guy. Say hi for me. ”
“ Solid neighborhood sandwich spot ambiance :) Quick and friendly service. Cute small eating area. Street parking Affordable pricing for a good size. Loved my godfather sub for $14. Yum was so hungry i forgot to take a picture. Will definitely be back! Thank you! ”
“ Roasted eggplant, roasted red peppers, red onions, provolone, pesto, spring mix and tomato make up the vegetarian sub called The Noe. I'm glad I ordered the "regular" 6" sub. It was big. I love Dutch Crunch and was happy to see it as one of the bread options. There are many sandwiches to choose from as well as Mitchell's ice cream. Good service. Price is ok. I paid around $12. The flavors didn't pop as I expected. Next time I'll ask for a splash of balsamic vinegar. ”
“ My wife and I shared the TBA and were happy to find that the size of the sandwich was hefty, and the portions were generous! The sandwich was very delicious down to the last bite. The prices are bit high but at least you get a good portion size. The folks working the counter were friendly and accommodating. Next time I'm craving a sandwich this will be my go spot to in the neighborhood. ”
